For our client, one of the leading IT service providers in Switzerland based in Bern, we are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer for a permanent position.
Your responsibilities:
- You develop, plan and implement state-of-the-art cyber security solutions and put them into operation directly at our customers' sites
- You create and present well-thought-out security and solution concepts and implement them with innovative technologies
- You are a competent consultant in the field of cyber security and convince our customers with your expertise
- You support and advise our sales team in preparing offers and actively participate in the presales phase to offer customized solutions
- You will contribute your expertise to our company and, with your creative and innovative ideas, make a significant contribution to the further development of our cyber security services and solutions
- You will take responsibility for on-call and on-call duty (approx. 5 weeks per year) and ensure maximum safety for our customers
- You will work with our Operations team on a case-by-case basis and support them with your in-depth know-how
Your qualifications:
- You have a higher education (HF, FH, Uni/ETH) in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification
- You have several years of experience in the cyber security environment and also have solid knowledge in the area of networks
- You have in-depth knowledge of the products and technologies of leading manufacturers, ideally Check Point, Fortinet, F5 or Cisco
- You are passionate about cyber security solutions and have the relevant manufacturer or general security certifications, or are motivated to acquire them
- You see further training as an opportunity and want to continuously develop yourself
- You feel comfortable in your role as a cyber security expert and you see presentations to customers or events as an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge
- You are a service-oriented team player with initiative
- You are used to working on different projects in parallel and keeping an overview
- New technologies fascinate you and you enjoy getting to grips with new topics
- You approach your tasks in an organized and independent manner and implement projects efficiently and at a high level
- You understand Swiss German, have very good German skills (C1/C2) and very good written and spoken English skills
- You have a category B driving license and are flexible for our locations in Germany and Switzerland
